      Description

Wake up in the heart of coues deer country where populations of black bears exist in the "sky islands" of southern arizona! After a great breakfast and coffee in camp well hop in the truck or S/S and head into the hills where Mesquite Mountain Outfitters guides are well aware of where the bears are roaming in search of Prickly pear fruit and manzanita berries. Multiple trail cameras on water sources and trails will be provided and studied to increase the odds greatly of knowing bear activity is high in the area. Once we locate a bear in the morning usually we pinpoint the area it went into (usually a very dark nasty canyon). in the afternoon we move guides and hunter in the area where the bear is likely to return to the food source in hopes of a spot and stalk situation. sitting water is also an option for hunters looking for that type of hunt as well.
